In order to ensure that our services run smoothly, the licensor must accept our general terms and conditions. These are as follows:
The licensee alone has the decision whether to publish the song transmitted to him or not.
The licensor uploads the song to the licensee. With the upload alone, the licensor confirms that he is the author or has the necessary rights to have the song reproduced. If it turns out that the licensor does not have these rights, he is liable to prosecution and has to pay for the damage financially.
The licensor must correctly and truthfully fill out the license agreement sent to him, sign it and send the license agreement back to the licensor. If this is not correctly filled out or signed, we cannot guarantee a correct process. If it turns out afterwards that the licensor did not fill out the license agreement correctly, the licensee has the right to withdraw the license agreement.
The licensor is not entitled to change the license agreement. If the licensor changes the license agreement without the consent of the licensee, it will automatically become invalid.
The licensor has no influence on the entire publishing process. The licensee alone decides when the licensee publishes the song. The licensor also has no say in the entire publishing process. Licensor may provide advice to Licensee, but Licensee alone decides what steps to take.
The deal is 50/50. The licensee pays 50% of the income that he actually gets to the artist. If several authors are involved in a song, they must be divided by the licensor himself.
If the licensor has not provided the licensor with a bank account or PayPal e-mail address in writing on the license agreement, the licensee is entitled to withhold the money until the licensor informs the licensee of his bank account or PayPal e-mail address in writing. It may also be that PayPal or the bank charge fees in the case of an international transfer. These are to be paid by the licensor himself.
The licensor bears the cost of advertising his song himself, but the licensee tries to support the licensor in the best possible way so that maximum profit can be achieved.
If the licensor withdraws from the license agreement for any reason, the licensor may in principle do so, but the costs incurred by the licensee will then be charged to the licensor.
The licensor acknowledges that the licensor does not publish any songs with content that glorifies violence or is repulsive or discriminatory.
The licensor also acknowledges that the licensee only publishes songs from the genres House & Techno, Minimal, Trance and Chillout.
Songs from all other genres will not be released.
The licensee has the right to change or update the general terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
